Yamile Cruz Montero has just finished the recording of her first solo album. The recording sessions were held at the Bavarian Broadcasting (Bayerischer Rundfunk) with Falk Hefner (producer) and Bernhart Albrecht (sound engineer). She performed pieces of Cuban composers such as Ernesto Lecuona, Carlos Fariñas and Andrés Alén.
The album will be titled “Piano Cubano” and is scheduled to be released in November 2017 by Grand Piano, a department of Naxos Records, specialized on solo piano recordings.
