“Send a piano to Cuba”
This is a benefit concert for the Send a Piano to Cuba project, initiated by Cuban pianist Eralys Fernandez and supported by Cubanos en UK, an association of Cubans living in Britain. Several talented professional Cuban musicians living in England have committed to perform in series of classical music concerts, to raise the funds necessary to cover the cost of transporting of a purchased piano to the Conservatory Amadeo Roldan in Havana.
The concert will take place on Saturday 3 June at 7:30 pm at the Bolivar Hall in London, UK. Yamile will perform solo as well as in duo with the Greek drummer Christos Asonitis.
